Segway – Confluence – 2h

Take a Segway ride in the south of Lyon to explore the Confluence district. This tour will introduce you to 21st-century Lyon.

Your experience

Starting from Vieux-Lyon (old town), cross the Presqu’île (peninsula) to discover the largest pedestrian square in Europe: Bellecour square. Then, take the ViaRhôna (bike lane that follow the Rhône river) and follow the Rhône’s banks to end up near Musée des Confluences. Here, you will see where the Rhône and Saône rivers meet.

Continue your trip by exploring this eco-friendly neighborhood on a Segway and take the opportunity to admire its colorful contemporary buildings. The return route will be along the Saône banks. Finish your adventure in the Vieux-Lyon to enjoy the Renaissance’s building.

How to book a Segway tour

You can book by phone, e-mail or directly online. In all three cases, a credit card will be required to block the Segway as a guarantee. No payment will be made in advance of the day of your booking. Payment is made on site at the agency. You can also come directly to our agency to book a Segway ride, subject to availability.

Guaranteed departure

This tour is guaranteed with a minimum of 4 people and the reservation will be confirmed no later than 1 day before the tour date. Payment is made on site.

Can I cancel my booking?


Reservations are non-cancellable and non-refundable. You can request a postponement of your reservation at no charge.

What happens if it rains?

Don’t forget to check the weather forecast. Lyon has a continental climate. Our Segway tours are all-weather, and we provide ponchos. In the event of heavy rain or snow, we can cancel the ride by notifying you as soon as possible. You will then receive a full refund.

What time does the activity start?


Please arrive at least 15 minutes before the start of your tour to allow time to fill in the start register and be equipped with a helmet. We cannot wait for latecomers as this affects the experience of other participants. If you are running late, please try to call us as we may be able to arrange an alternative departure. No refunds can be claimed for late arrivals. Don’t forget to park in advance. It can be difficult to find a parking space.

Is there a minimum number of participants?


Everyone is welcome at ComhiC. However, reservations are guaranteed from 4 people. You can pre-book to be on the waiting list. However, we can cancel your reservation free of charge, or offer you an alternative departure or date.

What equipment should you bring for the activity?

Sunscreen in summer. Warm clothing in winter.
