| ComhiC-Tour (LyonSegway) vous propose de découvrir un engin de transport innovant au cours d’une promenade permettant de visiter plusieurs quartiers de Lyon. En effet, le Segway et le seul engin de déplacement conçu pour opérer dans n’importe quel environnement pédestre. Cette excursion de 3-4 heures est limitée en distance de sorte que vous bénéficierez d’une attention toute particulière et personnalisée. Point important : Chaque randonnée débute par une session d’apprentissage de 30mn environ sur la place proche de nos bureaux. Nous nous entraînerons de sorte que chacun puisse se sentir à l’aise et prêt à parcourir les rues de Lyon. Le Segway peut être utilisé à partir de 16 ans. |

The Segway PT ® is the first of its kind-a self-balancing, personal transportation device designed to operate in any pedestrian environment and its lots of fun ! With the Segway PT® we will glide effortlessly trough the sights of the city while learning the history, fun facts and other interesting information about our city. Our 3 1/2 hour glides are limited in size so you can count on a great, personal service and a memorable experience. Feel like a celebrity as everyone turns in awe to watch us glide by Important Notes : Each of our tours begins with a 30-minute orientation session in the plaza next to our office. We will practice on the Segways so that everyone feels comfortable and ready to go out and conquer Lyon. The Segway is appropriate for virtually anyone 16 and older. What is a Segway Human Transporter? The Segway Personal Transporter is a revolutionary new way to move. What Segway calls "personal transportation" is actually one of the most amazing feelings a person can feel in this lifetime. By using a technology called "dynamic stabilization," the Segway PT is able to remain balanced and intuitively move based on inputs from the "glider" or rider. |
What makes the machine the most amazing is the way in which it almost becomes interactive with just a few minutes of training. The ease at which people learn how to operate a Segway is almost as amazing as the technology itself. The Segway PT was designed to be used in everyday life, with a physical presence just slightly larger than the average human footprint. Running on batteries that can be charged from any power outlet, The Segway PT has a range of approximately 25 miles on a full charge, giving the equivalent of 450 miles-per-gallon. |

Dynamic stabilization is possible because of the machines gyroscopes, tilt sensors, and micro processors, which allows a glider to be balanced on a Segway without having to do a thing! When the vehicle leans forward, the motors spin both wheels forward to keep from tilting over. When the vehicle leans backward, the motors spin both wheels backward. When the rider operates the LeanStear to turn left or right, the motors spin one wheel faster than the other, or spin the wheels in opposite directions, so that the vehicle rotates.
